ABOUT MEFamily over everythingHi! I’m Abby Hanley, and I am from Dallas, Texas.
I love to read which has sparked my even greater love for writing. I also have a deep passion for content creation, media, communication, and journalism as a whole. I am a recent graduate from the Gaylord College of Mass Communication & Journalism at the University of Oklahoma. I also received a double minor in Criminal Justice and Business. I loved getting to learn a variety of subjects from learning about the law and how our system works, to business strategies. I am blessed to have received an education that has allowed me to transform into a detail oriented and talent writer and content creator. I see myself as a sponge that has soaked all this information up and is ready to apply it somewhere. Our day and age is hard to find what your passions are, and I am striving that I can find a work-place that inspires me as much as I can hope to benefit them. I don’t know exactly where I will end up in my career, which terrifies me as I am a type-A planner, but I do know that my passions are vast, and my work ethic is strong. To be honest, I am just trusting that God will place me where I am meant to be and in a job where I am helping to make a positive difference. A little bit more about me. Family is everything to me as I would not be here if it weren't for them. My mom, Stacey Hanley, is my best friend and role model for so many reasons. She is the definition of a strong and empowered individual that goes through life with grace and strength. My mom is a doctor, and while I did not inherit her love for math, science, or surgery, I would like to think she taught me everything I know about perseverance and empathy. If I am able to look at myself/my life and see even a little of my mom in me, that is a huge accomplishment. I am so lucky that the individuals in my corner are so steadfast and kind, yet a consistent reminder to strive for greatness. |
